JICS signs Aussie cricket icon as new ambassador

Australian cricket icon Brett Lee has signed on as a brand ambassador for Jobs, Immigration, and Education Consultancy Services (JICS), an Australian immigration service.

The organisation provides opportunities for people to find work and education, and settle into their new life in Australia, and Lee hopes to bring his passion and commitment to helping people achieve the dreams to the ambassadorship.

“We have a team who are incredibly well versed in immigration policy, procedure and even the experience itself of immigrating to Australia from the United Kingdom, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Europe and the rest of the sub-continent,” said JICS managing director, Aman Sethi.

“For us, Brett aligns with our vision,” Sethi continued.

“As a popular and respected cricketer, he is well-spoken and meticulous about the way he plays. Brett epitomises how we work.”

Lee said he’s proud to stand with JICS: “I saw the opportunity with JICS to make a difference in the lives of those moving to Australia, similar to what I have experienced in my career with cricket being welcomed and accepted in other parts of the world.

“It’s very similar to what JICS is doing, helping people experience and integrate into new environments,” he said.

“The great thing with JICS is that it gives people that opportunity to find their new home, by providing opportunities to find work, and guiding them through that experience like a coach guides an athlete,” Lee added.

Lee plans to use his experiences to showcase how embracing different cultures enriches teams, drawing on his own success stories of diverse individuals contributing to better cricket teams.

He also emphasised the multicultural aspect of Australia and the opportunities available here.

“JICS is crucial to adding to the diverse tapestry of Australian culture, just as international players are crucial for adding richness to world-class cricket teams,” he explained.

“For us, it’s integrating those talents into the workforce and blending those cultures with Australian life.”

JICS aims to grow its global reach and presence with Lee’s ambassadorship, continuing its mission of providing expert guidance to individuals looking to immigrate to Australia.

“Right time, right place with the right team behind you like JICS is the perfect formula,” Lee concluded.
