Oaks Hotels partners with The Coffee Club, Foxtel and Menulog to improve guest experiences

Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites has extended its ‘Happy Folks Choose Oaks’ brand platform, partnering with Foxtel, Menulog and The Coffee Club to create in-room experiences for guests.

The platform launched in late 2022, aiming to differentiate Oaks from other domestic hotel services, via a campaign from MASH.

The new partnerships will see guests now able to enjoy quality in-room pod coffee from The Coffee Club, the full Foxtel at home experience including free in-room streaming, as well as convenient grocery hampers, delivered by Menulog.

Melissa Rodrigues, group director of brand and marketing at Minor Hotels (includes Oaks), said the decision to continue the platform was based upon the success of the first iteration from MASH.

She said the platform has helped boost brand recognition, and has successfully differentiated the brand in the crowded hotel market.

“A warm welcome, plenty of space, top locations and all the comforts of home are key reasons guests choose to stay at Oaks properties, and this campaign clearly communicates our value proposition to our target market,” she explained.

“During this next phase, we are building upon the ‘Happy Folks Choose Oaks’ concept by incorporating partnerships that deliver tangible, real-life benefits for our guests, such as quality in-room coffee, a much broader choice of entertainment options for comfy nights in, convenient grocery hampers, and a simple way to access specially curated local dining options delivered to the hotel.”

With the new take on room service in partnership with Menulog, guests can call reception to order and pay for their food, with popular local options available for selection via the Menulog menu in their rooms.

There will also be five varying grocery hampers that guests can pre-order when booking a stay at Oaks, that will be ready upon check-in.

The Foxtel at home experience will let guests use an extensive suite of movies, drama and sport live ad on demand via Foxtel’s Business iQ services.

As for coffee, Oaks will offer guests a selection of fully recyclable coffee pods from The Coffee Club, to use in-room.

“They say it’s the little things in life that make a big difference, and these partnerships are designed to enhance every guest stay and make our hotels feel even more like home,” Rodrigues concluded.
