Position Purpose
The purpose of the Account Manager role is to maximise revenue opportunities across the atn broadcast ecosystem working across a territory of leading advertising agencies by providing innovative, outcome-focused advertising solutions. This role is all about delivering customer-focused strategies, exceeding revenue goals, and building long-term client partnerships that showcase atn’s unique attention
Key Accountabilities
• Deliver exceptional customer service by tailoring solutions to client needs and showcasing the full power of atn’s high attention product portfolio.
• Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of clients.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and market share objectives within your agency and client portfolio.
• Provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts and reporting to management.
• Grow and maintain agency and direct client relationships across channels.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver solutions that address client marketing challenges and deliver measurable results.
• Develop strategic account service plans for key clients aligned with atn’s Customer First principles.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Stay across market trends, competitor activity, and innovations in media to ensure ATN remains at the forefront of client conversations.
• Deliver confident and engaging presentations, showcasing research insights, case studies, and new opportunities to inspire and influence clients.
• Entertain and engage clients as part of relationship-building, both during and outside standard working hours.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• 4-5 years’ experience in media sales, advertising, or a related industry with proven revenue results.
• Strong media relationships within the Sydney market
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to deliver win–win solutions for clients and the business.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire at all levels.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying client needs and designing integrated advertising solutions.
• Self-motivated, driven, and able to manage time and priorities effectively.
• Proven track record in business development and growing a client portfolio.
