Work directly with a large team of media buyers, planners, strategists and digital experts in this exciting leadership opportunity! Our client is looking to appoint a senior-level digital talent with knowledge and expertise in social, content, paid and organic media.

The Opportunity:
– Support the Head of Digital + work with a team of digital planners, buyers and strategists
– Work across three major clients within the retail, food, retail sectors
– Manage and mentor a small team of digital buyers, planners & strategists
– Manage key client relationships, proactively acting as the first point of contact for all things digital marketing
– Coordinate and implement powerful performance digital media campaigns
– Clearly communicate with clients regarding expectations, marketing performance, strategies, and timelines
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop exceptional, results-focused work
– Generate client-centric reports focused on core success metrics – like budget, conversion optimisation, traffic performance and creative performance
– Stay abreast with the latest developments, trends and strategies for different digital platforms
– Ensure that the client receives all required deliverables to meet account goals
– End-to-end project management (plans, templates, status reports, etc.)
– Budget management, forecasting and reporting
– Client and stakeholder liaison
– Quality assurance and technical development (front-end, back-end development)
– Strategic development
– Contributes to business development (pitches, new client proposals, tenders)
You:
– Currently live in Melbourne
– Minimum of 8+ years (digital marketing) experience + leadership experience
– Experienced in Google Analytics, SemRush, Ahrefs, Tag Manager, AdWords, SEO, Google algorithms and other search-related tools
Understands Meta platform and advertising best practices in strategy and optimisation
– Previous experience managing teams is required
– Relevant tertiary degree
– Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
– Highly proficient in project management and documentation
– Excellent networker with the ability to build lasting client relationships
– Passion for digital marketing with strong knowledge of social media, emerging technologies, e-commerce projects, hosting/video hosting, testing/QA best practice
– Highly skilled in online advertising campaigns, paid and organic media
– Previous experience with budget management and reporting is ideal
– Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
