We seek an experienced Marketing talent (Senior Account Director or Group Account Director level) to join a thriving and growing corporate PR & Marketing agency.
This is a fantastic leadership opportunity to work on brands across a niche client community, to drive continuous growth and work closely with the GM and Digital Director on key, corporate & consumer client work!
Working with a small team of enthusiastic digital marketers, you will oversee the digital content of various national property and lifestyle brands, nurture new clients, and continue to grow a successful digital marketing company.
This leadership role will suit a digital marketing Talent with proven experience (agency experience desired) in building and nurturing client relationships, and can lead by example.
The Opportunity:
– Work closely with the MD & Digital Director to lead the strategic direction of the agency
– Be a strategic trusted client advisor through the delivery of outstanding end-to-end client experience
– Set future marketing strategies, plan annual budgets/forecasting, digital and client/product offerings
– Oversee stakeholder/client sponsorship management
– Work closely with the MD to hire, mentor & manage marketing staff
– Build, lead and develop an engaged and dynamic team for the agency
– Oversee and supervise financials and client budgets for the agency
– Identify and participate in external thought leadership opportunities to build awareness to the agency’s expertise
– Act as a key player in hunting incremental and new business opportunities
– Organic & new business development (20%)
You:
– Live in Melbourne, Australia
– Have at least 8-10+ years marketing experience (agency preferred)
– Have an excellent understanding of the Australian media landscape
– Previous experience managing property clients is desirable
– Have proven social media and content experience within an agency environment
– You’re a conceptual thinker and leader and up to date with current digital trends across the Australian media landscape and platforms (web, mobile, audio, email and social media)
– Comfortable working at a creatively-fuelled, innovation-led agency
– You’re a natural storyteller and have innovative ways to bring a story to life through your work
– Have excellent communication and presentation skills (including written and verbal)
– Are a confident presenter and can articulate your ideas clearly
– Can develop presentation decks with a clear narrative
