PR Account Executive – Health

The Role:

Do you know the difference between psychology and physiology? Are you the type who can’t resist the latest health news? Would meeting the brains behind new medicines and health tech make your day? And most importantly, are you passionate about giving patients a real voice?

We’re on the hunt for a smart, curious, and driven Account Executive (AE) to join our Health PR team in our Sydney or Melbourne office.

You’ll get to work with some of the world’s biggest health brands, creating and delivering campaigns that matter, all while being part of a fun, supportive agency doing great work. You’ll dive into everything from the creation, management and execution of integrated communications campaigns to building strong relationships with relevant media and key opinion leaders on behalf of our clients, contributing your own spark to campaign development.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support across all project phases, including strategy, planning, implementation, material development, client relations, media relations, project documentation, and reporting;
  • Manage project timelines and delivery of work across assigned projects and deliverables including flagging scope creep or changes to deadlines or delivery of work;
  • Show initiative in gaining familiarity with clients and business, be proactive in identifying and building relationships with key media and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships with client contacts and agency partners;
  • Lead or assist in media relations including; developing media materials, building media lists, supporting media strategy development, media pitching, and tracking media coverage;
  • Support client account team to track campaign, assist in pitches and collaborate with other teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A relevant degree, 1-2 years relevant comms/agency experience (a passion or interest in agency life highly regarded).
  • Be proactive, curious, and ready to take the lead when needed.
  • Someone who is a lover of all things news, is comfortable juggling tasks and plays nice with others.
