Joel Creasey to host Seven’s Take Me Out
Comedian Joel Creasey will host Seven’s new dating series and popular international show, Take Me Out.
Creasey – who will also appear on Rove’s new show Show Me The Movie – will be on the search for Australians interested in finding love. In the show, the female contestants decide if they want to keep their light on for their chance to win a date with their ideal candidate.
“Across the world, Take Me Out is just so much ridiculous fun; a hilarious and wild ride,” Creasey said of Seven’s upcoming program.
“I’ve had my fair share of bad dates, and I know how important it is to kick it off right… on national TV, in front of a live crowd! I can’t wait to help Australians strike that match and let the love in on Take Me Out. I also can’t wait to make my debut on Channel Seven! Joel Creasey on Channel Seven? Watch out Kochie… I’m coming in hot!”
Jonathon Summerhayes, director of programming at FremantleMedia Australia said Creasey was “outrageous, lightning-fast and whip-smart”, making him the “perfect modern matchmaker”.
“Take Me Out with Joel at the helm will have a totally fresh, edgy energy and his ability to relate to the singles will shine,” Summerhayes added.
Why must we always regurgitate TV programs from the UK?
What happened to creating our own concepts for shows?

Hi Dave B,
This was a typo on Mumbrella’s part, rather than anything to do with “queer sub-text”. The error has been amended.
