Jonesy & Amanda action figures are back in new WSFM campaign

WSFM has launched a new marketing campaign for the Jonesy & Amanda Breakfast Show, expanding on the pair’s popular action figure-based campaign, which first launched in mid-2021.

The new campaign, developed in-house, features the taglines “They’re a bit cheeky”, “They’re good eggs” and “They’re good in a crisis”, and throws the action figures into various real-world scenarios, such as the beach, and in a household kitchen.

Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones said of the campaign: “I can’t believe they pixilated my mound, Ken never had to put up with this.” Keller added: “Like all dolls, you have to be cautious of the small parts.”

Lauren Joyce, ARN’s chief strategy and connections officer, said: “After a few trips to the doll hospital following an unfortunate incident with Amanda’s dog Mini, it’s great to be breathing new life into the concept.

“The focus remains on using Jonesy & Amanda’s trademark wit and banter to bring the dolls to life, but showing how the pair interact with the listener better reflects the role they play in the audiences’ lives every morning. Our goal was to use their content to sell the content and that’s precisely what this campaign does well.”

Developed in-house, the campaign launched this week and is being supported across all mediums – out-of-home, transit, TV, social, digital, print and radio.

For fans of Jonesy & Amanda, this campaign promises to deliver laughs, surprises, and plenty of cheekiness as the action figures continue to make their mark on the world.
