Julian Peterson has left Time Out Sydney to launch the Sydney office and Asia Pacific headquarters of online advertising firm Dianomi. Peterson will take on the role of sales and marketing director.
Peterson said: “After four years at Time Out in Singapore and Sydney it’s time for a new challenge. I’m exchanging arts and entertainment for finance and cars and bringing Dianomi to Asia Pacific.”
Dianomi enables brands in the finance, automotive and lifestyle sectors to use contextual ads running on upscale websites to target affluent audiences. The company’s clients in the UK included Fidelity, JP Morgan, Land Rover, Lexus, Jaguar and Mercedes, which used sites such as The Guardian, Reuters, London Stock Exchange, Yahoo and MSN.
“Dianomi’s technology allows transparency, payment by performance and far more detailed reporting than can be accomplished through straight-forward banner advertising,” said Peterson. “Dianomi provides the detail that marketing directors are demanding but still not always receiving from their online advertising.”
