Jungleboys sets up corporate film division

Production company Jungleboys has set up a sister company, In The Thicket, to handle their increasing demand for corporate films.

The announcement:

Jungleboys has launched sister company In The Thicket (ITT) to handle Jungleboys’ rapidly expanding corporate films division. As well as producing corporate films for internal and external communications, for marketing and events, the new division will also look after any branded content that does not fall under Jungleboys’ comedy umbrella.

The new company will be headed by Stephan Renard who has been in charge of the division for three years now. It also launches with Mel Pragassen as Creative Director and Leigh Richards as it’s principal Director, both long standing members of the team.

“There is a growing demand for high end films in corporate communications, and they often require not only a great Director but also beautiful design and animation so both Mel and Leigh are critical to ITT,” says Stephan.

“The team’s success has come from bringing TV commercial production values to corporate films but these jobs operate in a different way to our commercials work and involve a different team so the launch of ITT allows us to distinguish,” says Jungleboys’ Managing Director Jason Burrows.

Occupying level 3 in the Jungleboys’ building, and with their own edit suites and small studio, the team’s recent work includes the Thoughts Not Worth Sharing film for TEDx Sydney, the Australian of the Year films for CBA (run on Channel 9)
and films for PWB in France that played on a 78mx4m screen.
