Junior MasterChef top rates for Ten with 602,000

Ten’s top-rating show on Monday was the 17th most-watched show in Australia, according to the preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.

Junior MasterChef pulled in just 602,000 viewers, one of its lowest yet. It was soundly beaten in its 7.30pm timeslot by Seven’s The X Factor, which attracted more than double the audience – and won the night with 1.408m.

Nine’s The Big Bang Theory rated second for the night with 1.359m, and Nine’s challenge episode of The Celebrity Apprentice attracted 1.250m.

Targeting Bin Laden, which was highlighted as the Show of the Week by The Sydney Morning Herald’s The Guide, drew 808,000 viewers for a good night for ABC1. The network had four shows in the top 15.
