The Cusp, which has seen Junkee Media partner with Westpac, launched in December 2015 with Sonia Taylor in the editor’s chair. Taylor departed the company at the end of last year to pursue freelance opportunities.

Marshall joins the Junkee Media team after six years at the ABC, the last three of which she spent at Triple J.

Junkee Media publisher, Tim Duggan, said: “Amelia brings the perfect blend of experience and enthusiasm to this role. As the newest addition to the Junkee Media family, The Cusp is in great hands with Amelia and we have a lot of exciting plans to help grow it in 2017.

“I’m thrilled to join the Junkee Media team, who are doing some of the most exciting work in Australian online publishing.”
