Karma Drinks announces new CMO and leadership team

New Zealand soft drink company Karma Drinks has announced an expansion into Australia and a new-look leadership team.

Nick Barnes will join Karma Drinks as chief financial officer from December, offering “a rich background in finance and start-ups” from Milkrun, Koala, Frucor Suntory, and PepsiCo.

Nikhil Vaidyanathan will become commercial director of Australia –blending sales and category expertise from Nestle and Reckitt with start-up experience — while Justine Von Reibnitz will join as marketing director, bringing experience from Lion, Diageo, Bacardi, and Unilever.

Karma Drinks has appointed Jonny Harrison as chief executive officer.

Harrison has over two decades’ experience in senior commercial and leadership roles at organisations such as Lion and LMG, and will be tasked with spearheading growth in Australia and other established markets, including New Zealand and the UK, and identify new market opportunities.
