Kate & Co announces staff changes and the addition of Melbourne Fashion Week to its roster

Kate & Co has announced several staffing changes, including a restructure that sees founder, Kate Keane, become the sole director of the agency. Co-director Kate Bensimon departed last year to focus on her young family.

Kate & Co has also announced it has been appointed as PR agency of record for Melbourne Fashion Week 2020, following a competitive pitch with the City of Melbourne.

The agency has previously worked on Melbourne Fashion Week’s account in 2016 and 2017. It will be managing a comprehensive and integrated PR strategy for the week.

Keane said: “Having managed Melbourne Fashion Week in 2016 and 2017, we’re looking forward to working closely with City of Melbourne to take the event to a new level in 2020.

“We are delighted to welcome the MFW account back to our agency. Our fashion team are dedicated, passionate and live and breathe all things related to the Australian fashion and retail industry so it’s a perfect fit for us.”

It has also announced the promotion of Daniella Sorace to senior account director.

Sorace has been with the agency since 2018. Her new role will see her continue to manage the retail, fashion and consumer division as well as managing client PR strategies.

Business development manager Amanda Grainger has also returned from maternity leave.

Kate & Co’s client list includes Coles, Brunetti, Australian Turf Club, Funlab and Ten Minutes By Tractor.
