Kate & Co PR announces new client wins and new staff appointment

PR agency Kate & Co PR has announced new clients and appointed Alice Kennedy as a senior account executive.

Kate & Co PR has recently welcomed New Zealand brands Ashley & Co and Ōra King to the agency’s growing client roster and will be undertaking a project for Hotel Esplanade St Kilda (The Espy). In addition, the agency has extended its contract with BLUNT Umbrellas.

Kate & Co PR will manage a comprehensive communications strategy for leading New Zealand scent brand, Ashley & Co, to support their involvement in New Zealand Trade & Enterprise’s Discover New pop-up at Chadstone Shopping Centre during May. In addition, the agency will be rolling out a bespoke media relations and influencer engagement campaign to assist with the brand’s growth in the Australian market. Ashley & Co will also join the Kate & Co PR showroom in an ongoing capacity.

The agency is also working with world-renowned New Zealand salmon brand, Ōra King. Regarded globally as the ‘Wagyu’ of salmon, Kate & Co PR is collaborating with Ōra King to launch the brand’s new documentary looking at the sustainable processes that bring Ōra King salmon from farm to plate. The documentary will be launched across VIP screening events for the hospitality industry in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and will be supported by a dedicated media relations campaign.

Kate & Co PR has also been appointed by Hotel Esplanade (The Espy) to manage a media relations campaign and event to celebrate a new menu at Espy Kitchen – one of the three restaurants within the iconic St Kilda venue. Resurging with an improved offering, inspired by its darker, moodier, and cellar-door-esque interiors the mouth-watering menu has been curated by Espy Executive Chef Ashly Hicks, who has created a hearty selection just in time for the cooler weather and highlights some of Australia’s best seasonal produce.

Lastly, after a successful three-month contract with innovative New Zealand brand BLUNT Umbrellas, Kate & Co PR is increasing its scope of work with the brand for a further six months, with a focus on launching BLUNT’s upcoming artist collaborations, new product ranges, seasonal products, driving business profiling and media opportunities for Founder, Greig Brebner and generating targeted sampling opportunities. BLUNT will also remain a key brand in the Kate & Co PR showroom.

In staff news, the agency has welcomed Alice Kennedy to the Melbourne office as a Senior Account Executive. Hailing from Sydney, Alice has recently made the move to Melbourne. Alice brings her extensive social media management skills to Kate & Co PR along with three-years of agency experience in the beauty space having worked across clients such as Cinch, Tarte, A’Kin, Karen Murrell, Palmolive and Remington.
