Katy Denis rebrands her PR agency to Extollo and launches product to raise profile of industry leaders

PR practitioner Katy Denis has rebranded her business from KTG Creative to Extollo.

Extollo is a Latin word for ‘raise’, reflecting the agency’s goal to increase the profile of agencies, media owners, industry bodies and leaders.

The rebrand also sees the launch of a bespoke executive leadership profile package called Clarus, which is designed specifically for agency leaders and client-side brand managers, to complement company-focused PR work.

Denis said the name Extollo is a tribute to her late father.

“Earlier this year, my dear Dad passed away, and being a Latin scholar it felt right to honour him with my rebranded business name, Extollo and new profile offering Clarus. Having lived to 98.5 years old, my Dad was also one of the first men in Australia to take paternity leave to look after me as a baby and he has had a big impact on my life from a very early age,” Denis said.

She also said that the public profile of a leader was key to the success of the agency.

“Strong leadership is the hallmark of a strong agency or brand, and a visible public profile is important not only to an individual’s success and reputation, but to that of their business,” Denis stated.

Denis’ agency has worked with Leo Burnett, GPJ, Clemenger BBDO Sydney, Publicis Sapient, Versa, VMLY&R, Quiip and Affinity, and industry leaders such as Todd Sampson, Melinda Geertz, Josh Grace, Kath Blackham, Pete Bosilkovski and Caleb Bush.

Bosilkovski, CEO of Clemenger BBDO Sydney, said that Denis was the best in the business.

“There’s no one better than Katy. Over the eight years that we’ve worked together, Katy has been an incredible consultant, advisor and partner. Katy and her team are very committed and passionate about understanding company goals in the pursuit of raising business and individual profiles within the industry,” he said.

Blackham, CEO of Versa, commented: “Katy and her team’s work on my personal brand and Versa’s profile building has been phenomenal. The results we are seeing have well exceeded our expectations and I’m thrilled to have Katy leading our PR efforts.”

Bush, ANZ senior vice president of GPJ and managing director of Project, added: “Katy is a fantastic PR operator who is devising and delivering communications strategies that are generating excellent results. Over our three years working together, Katy and her team have demonstrated that they are clearly committed to going above and beyond to raise the profile of our leadership team and business. I consider Katy’s team an invaluable extension of our team.”
