Kayo campaign educates consumers about new sports streaming service

Fox Sports’ new stand-alone sports steaming service, Kayo Sports, has released a series of TV, outdoor and print executions to help educate consumers about what the product does.

The campaign, which will run across TV, outdoor, radio, social and digital, helps explain the pricing and contract strategy behind the product.

Host/Havas, Havas Media, Red Agency and One Green Bean collaborated on the campaign along with Kayo Sports’ creative team.

The lead TVC features the next generation of sports stars including Ben Simmons, Glenn Maxwell, Ash Barty, Stephanie Gilmore, Mitchell Marsh, Patrick Cripps, Latrell Mitchell and Ellia Greene.

For outdoor, over 30 athletes and 2,000 pieces of locally tailored material were created, while the digital execution delivers personalised messaging using Adobe AdCloud.

Kayo provides sports fans with access to more than 50 sports including cricket, AFL, NRL and the A-League as well as European soccer leagues, US basketball and surfing. Prices start from $25 a month with no lock-in contracts.

The service has been previously described by Foxtel CEO Pat Delany as the “Netflix of sport”.
