Kayo launches two new original series in time for cricket season

Kayo has announced it will launch two new original series, The Rundown and Kayo Clubhouse, as part of its summer of cricket coverage.

The announcement:

The summer of cricket just got bigger with two new Kayo original series’, The Rundown and Kayo Clubhouse – both hosted by Gogglebox stars Adam Densten and Symon Lovett – due to premiere on Kayo from December 3.

With the KFC Big Bash League kicking off on December 5 and the first Test in the Vodafone Ashes Series on December 8, both shows will offer Kayo customers exciting new ways to keep up with all the big smashes and catches throughout the summer.

The Rundown, available on Kayo and Kayo Freebies, will preview and review all the cricket action from around Australia, with 15-minute episodes released weekly amid the action-packed summer of cricket.

The Rundown will also be delivered and streamed in collaboration with audio streaming giant Spotify.

Kayo Clubhouse, available to stream on Kayo, Kayo Freebies and YouTube, will be a Gogglebox-style show coinciding with six BBL games exclusive to Fox Cricket, with the first episode live on December 15 for the clash between Melbourne Stars and Sydney Sixers. In a Kayo first, the YouTube partnership will see fans become part of the show, with Adam and Symon responding to fan comments in real time.

The show will offer fans an alternative way to watch some of the most explosive cricket this summer and feature special guests alongside Adam and Symon to provide their takes on the unfolding action.

Kayo’s SplitView feature means cricket fans will be able to watch the world-class Fox Cricket coverage and commentary alongside the more light-hearted and fun Kayo Clubhouse on compatible devices.
