My Kitchen Rules regains top spot for Wednesday night as Seven wins the night
Seven has won Wednesday night in TV as its reality cooking show My Kitchen Rules regained the top spot on the ratings leader board with the absence of Nine’s rival reality TV show Married at First Sight.

Mother and daughter from Queensland Valerie and Courtney took to the instant kitchen last night and managed an average audience of 1.105m, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.
The program which aired at 7:30pm was down on last Wednesday’s 1.166m but still managed to be the most watched program overall and across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54).
Ten’s competitor I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here saw 805,000 tune in compared to last Wednesday’s night’s 904,000, while Nine’s Planet Earth managed 648,000.
In overall audience share for the evening Seven took out a win with a 24.3% share ahead of Nine’s 16.7%, Ten’s 14.4%, ABC’s 10.8% and SBS’ 4.9%.
The 8:40pm time slot saw Ten’s drama This is Us pull 515,000 slightly down from last week’s 559,000, while Nine’s drama Murder Calls averaged 421,000.
ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering which aired at 8:30pm, saw 522,000 tune in and at 8:00pm Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery grabbed 460,000.
At 9:00pm, Seven’s Murder Uncovered managed 675,000 viewers.
In the news battleground, Seven News at 6pm pulled 959,000 compared to Nine News’ 913,000 while at 6:30pm Seven News managed 947,000 while Nine News had an audience of 851,000.
