Stephen Lord, Chief Strategy Officer, has today been announced as an equity partner in creative services company KOJO. The appointment comes as the company continues to grow strongly throughout Australia. It delivers on a key strategic objective to build a succession plan to refresh KOJO’s shareholding.

Dale Roberts, Chief Executive Officer at KOJO says the appointment reflects KOJO’s commitment to attracting, retaining and growing the very best talent in the country.

“We have long identified the need to employ people who align with our core values and vision. Since day one, Stephen has shown he is not only an incredibly strong leader but also someone who represents everything we are as a business.

“KOJO spans a diverse range of services nationally and internationally so as a business we need to ensure we have equally diverse skills and experience across the ownership and board structure of our company.

“Stephen has had a great influence on KOJO over the past three and a half years. In particular KOJO Sport which now works with clients like the AFL, Cricket Australia, Adelaide Oval, multiple AFL and Big Bash clubs and more recently Racing Victoria as their creative partner.

“With his solid strategic knowledge, energy and drive I am delighted to welcome Stephen on board as an equity partner,” said Mr Roberts.

Stephen Lord is excited to expand his current role and join KOJO as an equity partner, drawing on a diverse career that has included working client side as a Marketing Manager, as a partner in a start up business and multiple roles in agencies working across strategy, marketing and operations.

“KOJO brings together all the areas of strategy, creative and production that I’m passionate about and I’ve been amazed by the talent and passion of the KOJO team. I’m proud to have played a part in KOJO’s recent growth and look forward to continuing that input as an equity partner.

“The executive team has built a clear strategy to grow the business across a number of verticals and office locations. Our focus is bringing together strategy, creativity and technology to inspire audiences with memorable experiences that deliver compelling outcomes for our clients. It is an exciting time at KOJO and I’m delighted to be a part of the team,” said Mr Lord.

Stephen Lord will continue in his role as Chief Strategy Officer at KOJO, leading the KOJO Brand and KOJO Sport areas of the business.
