KPMG elevates Amanda Hicks to national managing partner for brand and marketing
KPMG has appointed Amanda Hicks as national managing partner of brand and marketing, effective from 1 December.
Hicks joined KPMG when the company acquired her business, Acuity Research and Insights, and she became the head of the customer, brand and marketing advisory (CBMA) team in July.
She will continue in that role, leading the CBMA business, in addition to the managing partner position. The new role also sees her become a member of the national executive committee.
“Amanda has proven herself to be a strong leader with excellent marketing and brand credentials. Our presence in the market is critical to our success, and Amanda is well credentialed to drive our strategy to position our brand externally,” said KPMG’s Australia CEO Gary Wingrove.
Hicks added of the new role: “I’m delighted to be taking on this role. Aligning brand and marketing activity towards customer outcomes should be a priority for all organisations – and is something very close to our heart at KPMG Australia. I’m looking forward to working more closely with our excellent brand and marketing team to continue to build our profile in market through smart and effective marketing.”
In July, KPMG promoted Sudeep Gohil from head of brand strategy to partner, and awarded its media account to Initiative.
