Kris Taute joins Air Asia as manager of PR and communications
Air Asia has appointed a new manager of public relations and communications, Kris Taute.
Taute joins the airline from his previous role as a senior public relations manager at Transport for NSW.
Prior to joining Transport for NSW, Taute was an associate director at Hill+Knowlton Strategies for eight months.
He has also worked at Destination NSW and Tourism New Zealand.
Taute said in a statement to Mumbrella: “I am truly excited to be joining such a talented communications team, both here in Australia and New Zealand and across our global markets.
“Following our recently announced move to Avalon in Victoria, the Australia and New Zealand regions can expect to see even more fantastic initiatives from us.”
In September last year Air Asia launched a campaign with PublicisQ starring 2003 Australian Idol winner, Guy Sebastian.
