Krispy Kreme partners with Hungry Jack’s for sweet trial
Doughnut titan, Krispy Kreme, is partnering with Hungry Jack’s to stock its menu with a selection of its products.
Officially beginning on November 5, 2024, the partnership allows customers within the Australian Capital Territory, Wollongong and Newcastle to purchase Krispy Kreme doughnuts from Hungry Jack’s fast food outlets. It serves as part of a trial being tested in 27 locations, with the possibility of a countrywide launch.
Delivered to individual restaurants daily, four Krispy Kreme treats – the Original Glazed Doughnut, the Choc Iced Doughnut, Strawberry Sprinkle Doughnut and the Kookies ‘n’ Kreme Doughnut – are part of the trial, and are purchasable all day through drive-thru and in-store channels; individually or in packs of four while supplies last.
“We always strive to bring our customers delicious, fresh food just like Krispy Kreme,” explained Hungry Jack’s chief executive officer (CEO), Chris Green.
“By adding Krispy Kreme’s doughnuts into our menu, customers can now enjoy a wider variety of products that complement our barista-made coffee, making every visit to Hungry Jack’s even more enjoyable.
“We would like to thank everyone involved who has been instrumental in making the partnership happen.”
Krispy Kreme Australia and New Zealand’s CEO Nicola Steele also shared her brand’s enthusiasm at the partnership, crediting Hungry Jack’s reach as a viable way of making Krispy Kreme’s products more accessible to consumers.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Hungry Jack’s to make our doughnuts even more accessible to our fans. At Krispy Kreme, our ‘made fresh daily’ promise is at the heart of everything we do,” Steele added.
“Through this partnership, we’re combining our operational expertise with Hungry Jack’s extensive reach, bringing the joy of fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts to more Australians than ever before.”
