The announcement:

Brisbane-based digital transformation company, Lamb Agency, will give $100,000 in digital solution support to Australian businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19.

Two winners of the Digital Lifeline Competition will each receive a digital transformation package worth $50,000 to allow for a digital business adaptation that will see them through this challenging period.

Lamb Agency Managing Director Greg Nelson said Lamb Agency was looking to solve Australia’s most challenging COVID-19 digital problem.

“We love finding innovative ways to solve big business problems. Which is why we are looking to understand some of the major challenges that businesses have been presented with through COVID-19 and turn them around with $100,000 worth of digital solutions,” Mr Nelson said.

“Adapting or pivoting a business model to suit the current conditions can be an expensive exercise, and many businesses just don’t have the spare cash to be able to turn a brick and mortar business into one the accommodates for an online audience.

“The Digital Lifeline Competition will provide the opportunity for two businesses to adapt to current circumstances and ensure they remain relevant and accessible throughout the pandemic and in the long-term.”

The prize package could include the launch or relaunch of an e-commerce store, revitalisation and transformation of existing digital platforms or a digital pivot to support the development of a new product or service online, to name just a few ideas.

Mr Nelson said Lamb Agency has noticed the retention and strengthening of online sales through its ecommerce clients as stores have closed their doors.

“Australian businesses have an opportunity to embrace this change and to execute a digital solution that will see their product or service ready for current and future market conditions.

Mr Nelson encourages businesses that have experienced a significant change in operations due toCOVID-19, and have a digital solution in mind, to enter the competition. This can include both service and product-based businesses.

“Winning a $50,000 digital package could completely turn the situation around for a business that may find itself on the brink of collapse due to the unprecedented times we find ourselves in.

“For Lamb Agency, we want to give struggling businesses a fighting chance, and we firmly believe in the business-changing opportunities that digital solutions bring. We are offering our expertise to keep local businesses going and keep people in jobs.”
