Laura Jones becomes a managing director of Frank PR Australia after management restructure
Laura Jones, UK director of Frank PR, has moved to Australia to become the joint managing director of the Australian operations following a management restructure.
The restructure will see deputy managing director of Frank PR Australia, Amy Whittaker, take on the joint managing director role alongside Jones.
Both Jones and Whittaker are replacing Polly Atherton who has been the managing director of Frank PR Australia since 2013.
Atherton has returned to the UK where she has re-joined Frank PR London as a director.
Jones joined Frank PR as a director in the UK in 2014 from her previous stint as an associate director at Clarion Communications.
Throughout her career Jones has also spent time at Freud Communications, Sainsbury’s and Euro RSCG Biss Lancaster.
Frank PR is owned by the Enero Group and has clients including Fiji Airways, Twentieth Century Fox, Deliveroo, Royal Caribbean and EFM.
Before moving to Australia, Atherton was an associate director at Frank PR in the UK.
Graham Goodkind, Frank founder and chairman, said in a statement: “Polly has done an impressive job over the last 4 years and has helped Frank establish itself as one of the leading consumer PR agencies in the country.
“I feel like we are now entering the next phase of our evolution and with the new double act of Laura and Amy I’m confident that the agency will kick on and become the PR agency to watch.
“Laura is a consummate PR professional with experience that will really play out nicely in Australia and complement Amy’s local knowledge, expertise and proven track record.”
