Lavender looks to the future with graduate program

Customer experience specialists Lavender has called for applications to take part in its 2017 Genus Graduate Program.

After a successful first year that resulted in the full- time hiring of all five participants, CX agency Lavender today opened the 2017 intake for its Genus Graduate Program.

Applications for the program, which offers ambitious and driven graduates the opportunity to make their mark in the world of marketing  and communications, close The Genus Graduate Program is part of Lavender’s long-term commitment to growing its own talent through ongoing training and development, which is reflected in the fact that one third of Lavender employees have been with the agency for more than three years – far in excess of the average tenure in agencies.

Lavender took on five graduates for the 2016 intake, from an impressive 87 applicants, with all five offered permanent full-time positions in roles that suited their strengths. Four are still with Lavender today, with only one of the five chosen leaving to join a start-up in her field of passion, the art world.

This year, the agency is offering another five graduates the opportunity to work across different parts of the business, from account management to strategy, creative and production, as well as data and technology, in both Lavender’s Sydney and To recruit the 2017 Genus Grads, Lavender has once again created a campaign driving interested candidates to the dedicated Genus Graduate Program responsive website (with mobile and tablet versions) where they can watch a video outlining the benefits of the program and then apply online.

Each graduate will be assigned a mentor to guide them through everyday agency life and like all Lavender employees, Genus Grads will  have access to Lavender Master Classes, led by internal and external industry experts, as well as industry courses.
