A collection of new faces have appeared in the creative department of advertising agency Lavender, following the hire of a new ECD late last year.

Marco Eychenne was hired as Lavender’s ECD in October last year, replacing Matt Cumming. Eychenne worked with Brisbane agency BCM, UNLTD, and Tequila as well as working with Lavender between 2005 and 2008.

The creative team includes a new digital creative director, digital art director, copywriter, video editor and a senior designer.

Eychenne said the team was open-minded and had a diverse set of skills that worked well in concert.

Says Eychenne: “We all know that technology has transformed the way we live and consume. It’s also changed the traditional agency structure, and the new landscape requires digitally savvy, creative minds. For this reason, I feel privileged to put a team of talented people together for Lavender.”

The team have already been commissioned as for EFTPOS’ creative account, replacing M&C Saatchi.

New to the creative department are:

  • Karl Reynolds – Digital Creative Director, formerly Deepend.
  • Yuji Sekiya – Digital Art Director/Interactive Designer and illustrator, formerly of The Hallway.
  • Danielle White (Copywriter) and Jérome Gaslain (Art Director) from TBWA/MAL.
  • Etienne Ancelet – Video Editor/Content Creator, from BCM.
  • Tony Wall – Senior UX Designer, from the White Agency.
