Leading NIDA corporate trainer Les Chantery to speak at Mumbrella neXt

NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art) senior corporate coach and actor Les Chantery will lead an interactive session at Mumbrella’s new conference, Mumbrella neXt.

The conference is targeted at those taking the first few steps in their careers, and Chantery will provide invaluable techniques to improve skills in communication, presentation, persuasive negotiation, leadership and more.

Chantery has been involved in previous Mumbrella events including Mumbrella360, where delegates scored his session an almost-perfect 4.8 stars.

Mumbrella neXt will feature a line-up of award-winning senior executives who will focus on the most important capabilities required for a successful career in the media and marketing industry.

Among the speakers already confirmed for the conference is CHE Proximity CEO, Chris Howatson, who will lift the hood on his career and reveal how he entered the industry, his approach to learning, what he knows now that he wishes he knew when he started, what he looks for in new talent and more.

Plus, personal development specialist and executive coach Janey Francis will run an interactive session on emotional intelligence, understanding your impact on others and the psychology of working in teams.

Also in the conference lineup is Nova’s CEO, Cathy O’Connor; Coles’ CMO, Lisa Ronson; Mindshare Australia’s CEO, Katie Rigg-Smith; and founding partner of Williams International, Nick Williams. The quartet will sit on an interactive panel which will be lead by the audience.

Throughout the day, delegates will be invited to anonymously write their questions on a post-it-note and put it into the question box located in the networking area. The panellists will then tackle the most challenging ones in the panel at the end of the day.

Delegates will also hear Eleven PR and TBWA’s Russ Tucker about how to unpack a great idea and turn it into something meaningful and successful.

Conference tickets are $199 and include access to the Mumbrella neXt Awards ceremony.
