Lego Masters teaches us creatives how to build good ideas

Lego Masters isn’t just a ratings hit providing family-friendly entertainment led by Hamish Blake and ‘Brickman’. It also teaches us, as Wade Kingsley explains, how to form and build good ideas. And it all starts with the bricks.

Lego Masters has returned for another season and, in these times of isolation, it’s a much needed tonic. Hamish Blake’s child-like charm, combined with endearing contestants who are undertaking something most of us have done – playing with Lego – means this series will be a guaranteed hit (again).

Lego itself is a one of the greatest creative tools ever invented. It’s a lesson in how to properly build ideas (an important lesson to learn when you’re in adland), and it’s a shame we stop using it when we grow up.
