Lenovo promotes Aussie marketer Nick Reynolds to run global digital channels

Lenovo’s Asia Pacific CMO, Nick Reynolds, has been appointed the company’s global head of marketing for digital, web and social.

Reynolds joined Lenovo in 2007 as Asia Pacific and Japan marketing and strategy director having previously worked with Dell and Apple in Sydney.

Reynolds’ move follows Lenovo’s long-standing digital marketer Danielle Uskovic leaving the company for LinkedIn Singapore in April.

Replacing Reynolds in the APAC CMO role will be Bangalore-based Bhaskar Choudhuri who was previously Lenovo India’s head of marketing. Choudhuri will be responsible for Australia and New Zealand along with other APAC markets ranging from Japan to India.

In his new role as CMO of Lenovo Asia Pacific, Bhaskar is tasked with expanding Lenovo’s brand footprint in the Asia Pacific region, and driving sales for PCs, tablets and smart devices across diverse markets covering Japan, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand and south-east Asia. He reports to Ken Wong, president of Lenovo Asia Pacific.

Reynolds’ new role will see him focus on growing Lenovo’s global digital and social media capabilities and report to the company’s newly appointed global CMO Gina Qiao.
