Leo Burnett Sydney’s ‘Monkey’ wins lone Aussie gong at One Show Interactive

‘Monkey’, created for WWF by Leo Burnett Sydney, was the lone Australian winner at One Show Interactive in New York last night, picking up a bronze pencil in the online films and video, non-profit category. Monkey was also among the few Australian winners at the Art Directors Club awards earlier this week.

At a ceremony dominated by agencies from the Americas, Europe and Japan, the best of show went to Wieden + Kennedy Portland for the Old Spice Response Campaign.

The campaign consisted of 186 personalised YouTube response videos to Old Spice fans.

According to a One Show press release, the campaign “pushes the boundaries of what it means to be interactive and became an internet sensation, generating over 52 million views on YouTube.”
