Leo Burnett wins census work

Ad agency Leo Burnett Sydney has been appointed by the Australia Bureau of Statistics to handle the 2011 Census.

Paul Lowe, head of the ABS census program, said “We are very excited about the partnership with Leo Burnett and really look forward to working with them. The Census is the ABS’ largest and most important statistical collection, and the advertising campaign we will develop with Leo Burnett will be vital for its success.”

CEO Todd Sampson said: “Winning Census is a great way to start the year. Census will help determine the future of Australia and we are really excited to be a part of that.”
