LG launches personalised movie trailer to push new ‘cinema TV’
LG has launched a digital campaign to promote its 3D cinema TV in which the consumer becomes the hero in a movie-style trailer.

The campaign uses text and voice technology to turn Facebook status updates into audible dialogue in the film.
The agency behind the campaign was Publicis Mojo Sydney.
This has the (old) whif of Magnum / Samsung / Intel et al. about it.

It’s certainly been done before. It would be really interesting to see if it has more depth and dimension to it than just Facebook. Why Facebook? Heard a classic discussion today where a client wanted to do a campaign on Facebook because 30,000 people liked them. Give me strength!
