Lifestyle You to air Trinny and Susannah
Style transformation show Trinny and Susannah’s Australian Makeover Mission has been commissioned for production and will air on Lifestyle You in early 2011.

XYZnetworks’ LifeStyle YOU today announced that it has commissioned Detour Productions to produce TRINNY & SUSANNAH’S AUSTRALIAN MAKEOVER MISSION while Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine are in Australia in October for their Westfield Fashion Therapy Tour.
MAKEOVER MISSION is a joint Zodiak Entertainment and Trinny and Susannah format based on their most recent production.
Fun and fast paced, this is back-to-basics for straight-talking style gurus Trinny and Susannah, doing what they do best – turning the style challenged into the stylish with dramatic transformations.
“This is the first time Trinny and Susannah have produced a series in Australia and I’m so excited that it is for LifeStyle YOU’s first production,” said Nicole Sheffield, General Manager, LifeStyle Channels. “This is a fast paced series with authentic reveals. Transforming 100 Aussies successfully in six cities is a big ask, however Trinny and Susannah are up for the challenge. I can’t wait to see their dramatic transformations.”
In each episode of the six-part one hour series, Trinny and Susannah will target a different Australian city. They will find Australians who need their help and advice during their visits and in just 12 hours at each location, show them how to dress for their body type. With glamorous new outfits, hairstyles and make-up, the transformed participants then strut their stuff on a catwalk in front of friends and family. Bringing about dramatic transformations and arming them with confidence and a deserving moral boost.
“This original series was created and produced by Zodiak production company Kanakna and was a huge success in Belgium. Broadcaster Vitaya has already commissioned a second series,” said Matthieu Porte, Zodiak’s Head of Format Sales. “Trinny & Susannah’s Makeover Mission has become such hot property since its launch at MIPTV that the duo will soon have a packed schedule for 2011.”

The series will be produced in October for broadcast on LifeStyle YOU in early 2011.
