LinkedIn ANZ boss and Big Red Group B2B GM to present at the Mumbrella B2B Marketing Summit

The managing director of LinkedIn Australia and New Zealand, Matt Tindale, will address marketing effectiveness in a B2B landscape at Mumbrella’s B2B Marketing Summit on September 5 at Swissôtel Sydney.

Tindale will draw on learnings from LinkedIn’s report ‘The Long And The Short Of It’, which is the first ever B2B version of the IPA dataset research from world-renowned marketing effectiveness experts, Les Binet and Peter Field.

Tindale will present a session on B2B marketing effectiveness

The study looked at effective practices in B2B marketing and their similarity to B2C marketing, and also unpacked in detail how B2B marketers can deliver ROI while balancing short and long-term marketing strategies.

Tindale will reveal learnings including tips to drive growth in a B2B environment, and how to build a strong brand at the same time as expanding your customer base.

Joining Tindale speaking at the summit is is Big Red Group’s general manager of B2B, Charlotte Valente.

Valente will front a session focused on understanding people

Valente will present a session on how to truly understand consumer behaviour and the people making decisions.

The session will see Valente dive into why B2B brands need to change their approach to people, and create a marketing strategy dependent on understanding those behind the business.

Also confirmed is chief storyteller and CEO at Filtered Media, Mark Jones, who will unravel the secrets to simplifying your message in a jargon-filled B2B world.

Throughout the session, Jones will give insight into the five golden rules of B2B marketing, how to align your stakeholders around a common cause, the power of storytelling in your marketing, and how global brands are tackling the challenge.

Tindale, Valente and Jones join other speakers already on the program including IBM Watson’s marketing evangelist in the US, Loren McDonald; Shutterstock’s global CMO, Lou Weiss; CHE Proximity’s CSO, David Halter; and FutureBrand’s APAC CEO, Richard Curtis.

Mumbrella’s B2B Marketing Summit is being held on September 5 at Hotel Swissôtel Sydney. Earlybird tickets are on sale now.
