Lite n’ Easy unveils partnership with Dylan Alcott AO

Lite n’ Easy has entered into a partnership with Dylan Alcott AO, so the athlete can serve as its brand ambassador.

The announcement:

Australia’s leading ready-made meal company Lite n’ Easy is proud to announce their new partnership with 2022 Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott AO. Dylan is a 4-time Paralympic Gold Medallist in two different sports (wheelchair basketball and tennis), a 23-time Grand Slam champion in Quad Wheelchair tennis and the only male tennis player to complete the Golden Slam in quad singles, winning all four majors and the Paralympics in 2021.

Dylan’s life purpose is to change perceptions so that people with disability, all over the world, can get out and live the lives they deserve to live. Since retirement from professional sport Dylan pursues this purpose tirelessly as a television and podcast presenter, an author, an acclaimed public speaker and advocate, an actor, a business owner and as the proud founder of the Dylan Alcott Foundation. He has been fuelled by Lite n’ Easy’s range of nourishing meals for the past three months in the lead up to becoming an official brand ambassador.

“From my lived experience with a disability and cooking meals, having nutritionally sound, great tasting ready-to-eat meals delivered to my door is an important foundation for choice and an independent lifestyle. Lite n’ Easy really helps me be the best version of myself every day,” Dylan said.

Dylan is an advocate and active campaigner for NDIS participants and ensuring the scheme continues to deliver and optimise the choice and control and the much needed services they need.

The partnership with Lite n’ Easy comes at an opportune time with the Australian owned company recently introducing a new co-payment option to make Lite n’ Easy services more accessible for plan managed, self-managed and agency managed NDIS participants who have meal preparation and delivery included in their plan.

“With our new co-payment option, eligible NDIS participants can now pay just 30% upfront for their Lite n’ Easy orders once set up, making it easier and affordable to enjoy nutritious, convenient meals and a more independent healthy life.” said Ashleigh Jones, head dietitian at Lite n’ Easy.

The partnership reaffirms the assistance that the growing number of NDIS participants are gaining from Lite n’ Easy meals. The range promotes healthy eating and independence.

With a choice of over 235 meals with seasonal tastes, Australians can have their food from the fridge to plate in minutes freshly prepared by our expert chefs and dietitians.

Dylan is the founder of The Dylan Alcott Foundation with the core purpose to help young Australians with disability with the opportunities to build confidence, succeed and achieve their dreams.
