Liz Dolan confirmed as additional ASTRA Conference keynote speaker

Chief marketing officer at Fox International Channels Liz Dolan is confirmed as additional ASTRA Conference keynote speaker.

The announcement: 

Liz Dolan, Chief Marketing Officer at Fox International Channels, has been confirmed as the fourth keynote speaker at the Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) Conference 2014.

Dolan joins Helen Jackson, Chief Content Officer, BBC Worldwide, Gerhard Zeiler, President of Turner Broadcasting System International, Inc. and Richard Freudenstein, CEO, Foxtel as keynote speakers at the conference to be held on Thursday 4 September at The Star Event Centre.

Currently responsible for marketing operations for over 300 channels internationally, with brands including Fox, Fox Sports and National Geographic Channel, Dolan has held senior marketing roles at a number of television organisations and global brands including as CMO for OWN(the Oprah Winfrey Network) and Corporate Vice President of Global Marketing at Nike.

“Liz has had tremendous experience marketing large, global brands, and we are thrilled to have her as a contributor to the conference. Liz will offer the local industry fresh perspectives on best practice approaches to leveraging content offerings, as well the approach Fox has taken internationally to connect with its customers in an ever-changing landscape,” Andrew Maiden ASTRA CEO said.

Liz Dolan said she’s delighted to have the opportunity to speak to over 500 delegates from Australia’s STV industry.

“We are incredibly lucky to be in the business we are in. Consumer demand for our content and channel brands continues to grow so all we need to do is figure out the best, most profitable way to deliver it to them, right? Not easy, but very exciting if you have a taste for adventure.
