Loud wins creative duties for Zespri Kiwifruits

Independent creative agency Loud has been appointed as creative agency of record for Zespri Kiwifruits south-east Asia, following a seven-way pitch.

The pitch for the kiwifruit marketer, which distributes 30% of the global volume of the fruit, included submissions from Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

The agency will be tasked with developing a new campaign for the Asia-Pacific region.

“Zespri are a dynamic and exciting organisation with an outstanding product,” Lorraine Jokovic, CEO of Loud said.

“They’re brilliantly positioned for growth and we’re thrilled to be the communications partner that will help them build success.”

Gerry Cyron, Loud’s head of planning and innovation, said creating a platform which could communicate different messages to a diverse audience was “only slightly challenging”.

“They have been able to take a complex marketing challenge and build a creative approach that has wide market appeal. We’re excited to be working with them,” said Judy Lee, regional marketing manager, south-east Asia & Australia, Zespri.

Loud will launch its campaign in May, which will run across TV, print and point of sale.

The agency’s other clients include Bupa, Target and the NSW Government.
