MAFS carries Nine to a second ratings week win for 2020

The second week in surveyed TV ratings has gone to Nine, thanks largely to the success of Married At First Sight. The show was three of the top ten most-watched programs in total people for the week and the top four in the key advertising demographics of 25-54 and 16-39.

Network Nine held a 29.9% share in total people for the week, sitting above Seven’s 28.0% and Ten’s 17.0%. As a channel, Nine held 22.0%, Seven 19.2% and Ten 10.6%. The most popular multi-channel was 10 Bold with 3.8%.

Seven won Sunday and Thursday for the week, with bushfire relief concert Fire Fight Australia driving Seven on Sunday. The show was also the fourth most-watched program in total people for the week. It was also fifth highest with 25-54s and seventh in 16-39s.

Ten’s week was largely dominated by Australian Survivor: All Stars which was the sixth and ninth most-watched program with 25-54s and fifth, sixth and ninth with 16-39s.

Nine is currently winning the year-to-date with 29.8% over Seven’s 27.1% and Ten’s 17.5%.
