MAFS cheating scandal reaches boiling point, delivering Nine another win on Tuesday night

Married at First Sight (MAFS) on Nine topped entertainment on Tuesday night, while Ten’s Australian Survivor outperformed Seven’s Australian Idol in metro markets once again.

The Nine reality show pulled in 872,000 metro viewers last night, with a cheating scandal reaching boiling point. It was followed by Seven’s Home and Away in entertainment with 488,000.

Tuesday night MAFS gave Nine another overall win

Australian Survivor on Ten attracted 467,000 metro viewers, while Seven’s The Chase Australia and Australia Idol followed with 466,000 and 423,000 metro viewers respectively.

The Hundred with Andy Lee brought in a 387,000 metro audience.

The #1 news program on Tuesday night was Seven News with 886,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 838,000, Nine News at 6:30 with 752,000 and Nine News with 734,000.

Nine Network took the top spot again with an overall network share of 33.7%, followed by Seven with 26.6%, Ten with 17.4% and ABC with 15%.

The top-rated primary channel was Nine with 26%, but the top-rated multichannel was ABC Kids/ABC TV Plus with 3.2%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 14 February, MAFS last Tuesday was the #1 program nationally with 1.658 million Total TV viewers, including 542,000 on BVOD and the biggest uplift of 66%.
