MAFS marries Nine to top spot again on Wednesday

Nine’s Married at First Sight (MAFS) topped Wednesday’s metro programming again, handing Nine another overall share win.

The reality show aired to 849,000 metro viewers, as well as topping all three key adverting demos last night.

Following MAFS in entertainment was Hard Quiz on ABC with 476,000 metro viewers, and Seven’s Home and Away, watched by 441,000 viewers.

The Chase Australia on Seven pulled in 420,000 metro viewers. ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering viewership picked up slightly in its second week with 397,000 metro viewers.

Under Investigation brought in 382,000 metro viewers for Nine. Ten’s The Dog House last night, meanwhile, attracted 324,000 metro viewers.

The #1 news program on Wednesday was Seven News at 6:30 with 791,000, followed by Seven News with 788,000, Nine News at 6:30 with 741,000 and Nine News with 685,000.

As mentioned, Nine network won the night with a 35.3% overall share, followed by Seven with 23.8%, ABC with 18.4% and Ten with 15%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 8 February, MAFS last Wednesday was the #1 program nationally with 1.891 million Total TV viewers, including 609,000 on BVOD and the biggest uplift of 67%.
