Magda Szubanski promotes new sports package for Foxtel
Foxtel has signed actor Magda Szubanski to star in its new sports advertising campaign.

She joins Fox Sports commentator and radio presenter Gerard Healy in the ad which promotes a new $50 sports package and ad-free broadcasts. It was created in-house and shot in Melbourne sporting venues.
Chantal Walker, Foxtel’s director of marketing said: “Magda is almost as iconic as the venues that feature in the new commercial. Her wide ranging appeal and popularity coupled with her love of sport made her the perfect choice to spearhead this exciting new offer.”
Szubanski played Netballer and sports nut Sharon Strzelecki in the ABC’s Kath & Kim.

I saw this the other night and quite liked it. No I don’t work for Foxtel or any associated companies. I think it’s ok as far as Foxtel ads go. They create content every week, so why not their own ads?
