Man of Many partners with Trinity Audio for new audio playback feature

Many of Many has partnered with Trinity Audio to launch a new listening experience that will enable readers to playback article narrations.

The announcement:

Australian men’s lifestyle publication and Mumbrella’s 2021 Brand of the Year, Man of Many – manofmany.com, has launched an innovative new listening experience for its readers that features audio playback and narration of articles in partnership with Trinity Audio.

The new feature has been launched across Man of Many’s entire spectrum of web and mobile platforms with the audio option offered directly beneath the main title of each article. Readers can hit the play button to listen to a unique neural voice ‘read’ the text of the article, while also controlling the playback speed of the audio.

Scott Purcell, Co-founder of Man of Many said “Providing a more engaging way to consume our content was a natural decision for us as we endeavour to meet the evolving needs of our readers. It has also helped us to boost our audience reach and retention, while also increasing our average time on site”.

A recent study by Audacy found that audio was the most immersive media in triggering memorability, trust, and connection when compared with other media channels such as linear TV and social media. As a complementary medium to Man of Many’s written and visual communication, the inclusion of audio has proven its ability to hook audiences and hold their full attention.

Ron Jaworski, Co-Founder, and CEO, Trinity Audio said “Audio consumption is stronger than ever, and adding an easy-to-locate player to Man of Many’s content helped confirm how providing consumers with a flawless experience can drive engagement.”

Not only does the Trinity Player offer a more convenient option for readers, but it also opens up new advertising opportunities for Man of Many’s clients and partners with support for Pre/Mid/Post roll audio ads. According to a study by Spotify and Neuro-Insight, digital audio advertisements also generated more engagement and emotional activation than other forms of media. The partnership with Trinity will also grant Man of Many the ability to distribute content via top streaming audio platforms Spotify and Google Podcasts, and voice assistants such as Google Assistant and Alexa.

The new audio feature comes after Man of Many recorded considerable growth in its local Australian audience, with over 684,000 monthly unique visitors and over 1,100,000 pageviews according to Google Analytics in January 2022. A diverse organisation, Man of Many’s core mission is to enrich, inspire and empower modern men to make a positive investment in themselves.
