“As of next year I will be vacating my spot here on The Grill Team. I have had a lot good thinking time about it, I want my mornings back, I am nearly 50 I think the times come I explore other avenues.

“My daughter Rafferty was a baby when I started breakfast radio, she’s now 10 and I’ve never been able to drop her at school.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better way to have spent the past eight years; with our Triple M listeners and The Grill Team family! I’ll certainly miss the daily laughs but I’m really excited for a new adventure with Triple M NRL.”

Greyer co-hosted The Grill with Matty Johns, Gus Worland. Emma Freedman joined the team in October 2016.

Next year Greyer will still be appearing on the show on Mondays and Fridays to talk about football.

The Grill Team finished in equal fourth for Sydney’s radio ratings’ seventh survey with a 7% audience share.
