Mark Taylor, Ian Healy to lead Nine’s Ashes 2023 commentary team
Nine has unveiled its commentary team for its coverage of the 2023 Ashes, featuring a crew of current and former cricketers.
The team comprises former Australian captain Mark Taylor, Ashes winner Ian Healy, World Cup-winning captain Aaron Finch and former internationals Callum Ferguson and Steven O’Keefe.
They will also be joined by Roz Kelly, with Louise Ransome on the ground.
The Women’s Ashes meanwhile will be commentated by former Australian internationals Rachael Haynes and Eylse Villani, and hosted by Emma Lawrence.
Nine will broadcast and stream the 2023 Ashes exclusively from 16 June on Channel 9 and 9Now, respectively.
“The Ashes: two simple words that represent so much in our nation’s sporting history, with famous moments, legendary players and unforgettable battles,” Nine director of sport Brent Williams said.
“An Ashes series never fails to deliver, and Wide World of Sports is proud to be right at the heart of it with our exclusive broadcast of both the men’s and women’s Ashes on Channel 9HD and 9Now.”
Not looking forward to the World Test Champs and Ashes being broadcasted by subpar FTAs.
Fox Crickets coverage has been amazing recently.

What a relief! Seven has an annoying element.

Tubby Taylor is a woeful commentator. Captain Obvious who adds little to the understanding of the game.
Hoping that Nine will unveil some more commentators in their team beyond those mentioned.
