Marketforce CEO John Driscroll to depart
John Driscoll, CEO at Marketforce, which is majority owned by Clemenger Group, is stepping down with Paul Everingham set to replace him.
Everingham was the CEO of Clemenger’s public affairs and corporate strategy firm GRA Everingham until December last year.
According to his LinkedIn, Driscoll joined Marketforce in 1988 and is on boards including Rottnest Island Authority, Wheelchair Sports WA and Trinity College.
Robert Morgan, Clemenger Group chairmain, said in a statement: “John Driscoll has done a superb job leading Marketforce for the last 13 years. He is a great advertising leader, as well as a highly principled and professional executive. I would like to thank John for a magnificent career with Marketforce and wish him well in the next phase of his career.”
Morgan said Everingham, who is returning from sabbatical to take up the role, is highly qualified.
“He is an extraordinarily creative, entrepreneurial and energetic individual. With highly developed business networks around Australia.”
Driscoll is set to depart in September.
Can only agree with Rob Morgan. It has been a pleasure to work with John over the years. John Lewis recently retired from NRMA/IAG is an excellent judge of character and always rated John very highly.
I particularly admire John’s resilience in having to deal with some of the clients in the past, who unfortunately have a lot in commmon with Andrew Howie’s recent observations.
Congratulations John, I hope our paths cross again.
