Marketforce set to lose ECD Pat Lennox and senior creative Ben Green

Perth-based creative agency Marketforce will see the departure of its executive creative director, Pat Lennox, and its senior creative, Ben Green, as the duo prepare to start their own consultancy.

The news of Lennox’s and Green’s departure comes two weeks after the Clemenger-owned agency lost its second CEO, Paul Everingham, in six months.

The duo are set to depart in June

Everingham only spent six months in the role after taking over from incumbent CEO John Driscoll, who resigned later taking on a role as the Western Australia CEO of Seven West Media.

Paul Coghlan, executive creative director at JWT in Perth, will replace Lennox as executive creative director at Marketforce.

James McGrath, creative chairman of Clemenger BBDO, said in a statement: “In both [Lennox and Green] we have been the beneficiary of wonderful creative integrity through deep intelligence.

“Paul joins our wonderful generation of brilliant leaders, uniquely having worked with four of them at different times, Evan Roberts and Stephen de Wolf at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, Ant White at CHEP and Levi Slavin at Colenso BBDO.”

Newly appointed Marketforce chairman and acting CEO Jim Gall said that Coghlan would be a key architect of the agency’s new era in Perth and “will bring great creative leadership to the Clemenger BBDO network, as well as further enhancing our reputation as the most powerful creative network in Australasia”.
