Marketing and media chiefs from Mondelez, Ebay, Big W and Reckitt Benckiser added to the Mumbrella Retail Marketing Summit program

One newly-announced session will see the founder of one of Australia’s biggest analytics firms Quantium, Tony Davis, hosting a panel looking at how marketers and retailers can use their data to drive better returns from digital to in-store.

That panel will include Ebay’s senior director of marketing and retail innovation and ADMA chair, Steve Brennen; Big W marketing director Ali Jones, who has previously been a chief marketer at leading UK retailers Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Arcadia Group; and Reckitt Benckiser marketing director, Paolo Zotti who has previously worked in the FMCG giant’s European operations.

Mumbrella’s Retail Marketing Summit will see heavyweight speakers from leading retailers and brands tackle issues including customer loyalty, shopper psychology, packaging, content marketing strategies and in-store innovation.

Meanwhile, Mondelez International’s head of media for ANZ Tom Slade and Carat’s head of product Sam Hegg, will present on Mondelez’s new digital innovations program, highlighting recent activity with Cadbury Picnic and Tinder, and Cadbury Kitchen and Taste.com.au.

The conference will be headlined by the creator of the one of the world’s more successful rewards program, the Tesco Clubcard. Grant Harrison led the launch of the loyalty program for the UK-based supermarket in 1995, pioneering the use of big data and elevating Tesco to become one of the biggest supermarket groups in the world.

Mumbrella’s Retail Marketing Summit will be held in Sydney on February 17, with discounted earlybird tickets on sale until January 13.

The summit series follows Mumbrella’s Sports Marketing Summit and Travel Marketing Summit, which sold out.
