Married At First Sight finds new series high with 1.685m metro viewers

Nine’s reality juggernaut, Married At First Sight, is showing no signs of slowing down, hitting another series high with 1.68m metro viewers tuning in to last night’s episode.

When combined with regional figures, this gave MAFS a total reach of 2.270m.

MAFS topped the ratings ladder

Nine had another win with 60 Minutes which topped its timeslot and had 811,000 metro viewers.

My Kitchen Rules was up 7% week-on-week with 774,000 metro viewers, rounding out the top five most watched shows of the night.

The Sunday Project was Ten’s most-watched show of the night. It saw 309,000 metro viewers and 463,000 combined. Chris and Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway failed to improve on last week’s 279,000 viewers, securing just 246,000 last night.

The ABC had a solid night, with Vera and Restoration Australia securing 659,000 and 539,000 metro viewers respectively.

Seven took the top figures for news, narrowly beating Nine with 1.034m versus 1.009m metro viewers. ABC News came in with 679,000 while Ten’s earlier edition saw just 240,000.

In the audience shares, MAF’ big night saw Nine take the win with 30.6%, putting it ahead of Seven on 16.8%, ABC on 13.9% and Ten on 6.6%.

The Nine Network also took the win with 39.4% over Seven’s 25.2%. The ABC Network landed on 18.4% and Ten rounded out the top four with 10.3%.

9Go! won the night for the multi-channels with 4.6% of the share, followed by 7Mate on 3.8% and 9Life on 2.2%.

SBS saw 4.6% of the share and 6.6% on a network level.
