Married at First Sight knocks MKR off perch
Sunday night television saw Nine’s Married At First Sight top My Kitchen Rules for the second time this season, pulling 1.113m viewers, but Seven managed edge out Nine to win the night.

Married at First Sight topped the ratings ladder as Seven’s rival reality TV show My Kitchen Rules pulled 1.098m viewers, according to OzTAM’s overnight metro ratings.
Airing at 7:00pm, the reality relationship show was the most-watched program across key advertising demographics 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54 and was the most-watched program of the evening.
MKR’s Caitie and Demi took to the instant restaurant with a Japanese and Italian inspired theme, but viewers were down from last week’s 1.236m.
Also airing at 7:00pm, Ten’s rival show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, in which Tziporah Malkah was eliminated, pulled 777,000 – down from last week’s 879,000.

In overall audience share for the evening the battle for the top spot continued as Seven beat Nine by 0.6%.
Seven saw 20.8%, while Nine managed 20.2% ahead of ABC’s 14.2%, Ten’s 11.0% and SBS’ 5.9%.
At 8:30pm ABC’s crime show Midsomer Murders topped the time slot managing 846,000, ahead of last Sunday’s 805,000.
Airing at the same time, Seven’s Sunday Night managed 845,000 ahead of Nine’s 60 Minutes which averaged 658,000 and Ten’s 24: Legacy which saw 262,000 tune in, down on last week’s 294,000.
The news battle saw Nine beat Seven with 982,000 compared to 972,000 for Seven.
